Since the FDA restricted new COVID-19 vaccines to only the highest risk groups, Oregonians have struggled to make sense of the changing state policies and guidelines that have created barriers to accessing the vaccine. Some are even being turned away with a prescription in hand.

Oregon has taken steps to ensure broad access to the COVID vaccine. Still, we are hearing stories about those who want the vaccine, especially parents trying to protect their kids, facing barriers.
